At Midway we believe that having a Spirit filled staff is a vital part of the
ministries here at our church. Our church staff consist of 2 Senior Ministry Staff members, 5 Ministry Staff members, and 2 Support Staff members. One of our staff members are always on call to make sure we are available to minister any time of day or night.

Since
1993 Doug Childers has provided Midway Baptist Church with visionary and enthusiastic leadership. His main duties are to preach and teach God's Word, shepherd the congregation, provide Christ centered focus and direction for the ministry, church staff, and ministry teams. Doug loves to connect with the heart of those who are seeking a relationship with Christ. His energetic style breathes with personal sincerity and divine purpose. Doug's wife Terri is a vital partner in the ministry at Midway. Terri has a deep burden for women and a desire to encourage them in the Lord. God used her surrendered heart, willingness to serve to invite her into women's ministry. This has resulted in Hearts
Ablaze Ministry.

Since 1999 Lynne Garcia has served as Midway's Senior Youth Minister. She had served as our youth ministry team leader for over a year. In
1999 Lynne was licensed by Midway for the youth ministry. Since that time, the church confirmed that she would served as our youth minister. Under her leadership our youth department has come to life. We have seen several of our youth surrender to the ministry and many others have grown in Christ at an accelerated rate. Under Lynne's leadership and prayer our youth group has grown to over 175 youth. We are so thankful for Lynne's burden for our youth and for her commitment to nurturing them in the Lord. Lynne's husband, Duane, is a wonderful inspiration to Lynne's life and to Midway. Duane serves as part of our Deacon body and brings great wisdom to the ministry at Midway. |
